Delete account

This is a translation for your convenience. The German version is the binding one.

For Cube Trainer (Android app “Cube Trainer” / “Würfeltrainer” on Google Play and cube.walch-enterprises.de) by Walch Enterprises GmbH. You can delete your account at any time, in either of the two ways below – or only single data and keep the account.

Way 1: yourself, immediately

1. Open the app or go to cube.walch-enterprises.de in your browser and sign in with the e-mail address of the account.
2. Tap Menu at the bottom, then More; at the very bottom, in the red Danger zone, tap “Delete account …”.
3. To confirm, enter the e-mail address of the account and tap “Delete account for good”.

The account is deleted at once and signed out on all devices.

Way 2: by e-mail, without signing in

Write from the address of the account to info@walch-enterprises.de with the subject “Cube Trainer: delete account”. We delete the account within one month and confirm it to you by e-mail. If you write from another address, we first check back at the address of the account.

What is deleted

• the account with e-mail address, name, language and licence details,
• all practice data (times, moves, statistics, training and lesson progress, own algorithms),
• the stored cubes and their Bluetooth addresses,
• shared solves (their links stop working),
• support messages including the connection log,
• the details of a purchase through Google Play (purchase token, order number, time of purchase),
• all sign-ins and open sign-in links.

What remains

• The log with e-mail address, time and kind of action (such as sign-ins, a change of name with the new name, the order number of a purchase) – including the entry about the deletion itself – is kept for the security of the service and as proof of the deletion for at most 90 days and then deleted.
• If you bought a licence directly from us, we keep the invoice and accounting records for up to ten years because of statutory retention duties (§ 147 AO, § 257 HGB).
• A purchase through Google Play stays stored at Google; Google's privacy policy applies to it. If you later sign in to the Android app again, the full version from that purchase is restored.
• The app removes the working copy of the practice data in the browser on the device where you delete. On other devices where you were signed in it stays in the browser until you delete it there in the browser settings (site data of cube.walch-enterprises.de or the app's storage).

Delete only single data?

Times, practice results, cube addresses and more can also be deleted one by one without deleting the account: Delete data, keep the account.
